Ore Haulers by J-Humphries Ore Haulers by J-Humphries
Two Harbors MN, 2086. Designed to hover over water rather than float in it, this ship hovers about 100 meters over the surface of the water, rendering it impervious to Lake Superior's vicious storms. Intended to haul iron ore, its heavy duty construction would also make a great mobile base for a villain. Boss fight anyone?

Ore Haulers by ~Vonmurder

Suggester Comments: "Ore Haulers" is well-composed and makes excellent use of lighting. It evokes nostalgia in people who have visited major shipping ports, and is also reminiscent of strong works of speculative fiction that explore changes to industry through advances in technology." Beautiful. Scenic. Lovely. Vulnerable to attack. Excellent workmanship and vision. Thank you for sharing. Cheers.

There's something wild and mystical about that area. The scenery is beautiful but the lake and the cold will kill you if you disrespect them. It's the stuff of Norse sagas.

This really reminds me of EVE. I know it's not all spacey sci-fi. But I like it
